Yes, laws do matter, but how does a national socialist or white supremacist or alt-righter or whatever break the law? Just because they believe those things, doesnât break any law. Black Lives matter are more racist than the alt-right, and they are causing serious crimes against property and cops, and instigate violence against whites and cops, but Facebook, Twitter and Youtube donât want to dissassiocate with that kind of racism and crime, i wonder why.
Libel is a crime. Instigating violence is a crime. Being a Hitler admirer is not a crime. Unless you explicitly endorse his illegal actions and crimes, it is not a crime. Sorry. Donât care what kind of laws some individual countries may have. In North Korea refusing to cry in Kimâs father memory is a crime and illegal. Should we care about that law as well?
As for freedom of association, this is bullshit. If a gay couple visits my christian bakery and demand me to bake a cake for their wedding, i donât have a right to refuse them. I may be an Orthodox Christian and believe that homosexuality is a mental disorder and a sin, but the state will trump my religious beliefs and force me to bake them a cake, or else they will send me to court and sentence me to jail or pay them reparations. Where is my freedom of association? I donât want to associate with people i dissapprove of, but the state forces me to. Same if i am a white supremacist and donât wish to service blacks.
There is no such thing as freedom of association in business. This is something that megacorporations use when it suits them in order to control mainstream political views according to their interests. Forget the ânazisâ, by regulating internet content, these corporations are the real nazis.
