That’s 13k more for 360 last month
This month the top 10 ends at 208.6k, so if the 360 version sold between 199.5k and 208.6k, then it’s still ahead overall I guess.

Top 10 software sales
Madden sales seem to have seen a big boost over last year. The PS3 version of Madden last year was number 11 (not in the top 10), so it sold less than 158k, but this year saw a big boost. The 360 version also saw a decent boost. Also, Rock Band 2 was only released for the 360 at this time last year, but TB:RB was released for all 3 platforms and sold quite a bit more overall. (And was in a more expensive package).
Hardware: PS3 numbers are up more than double over last year, Wii’s numbers are down by about a third, and the 360 sold around the same amount as last year.
Oh, and I guess the top seller, Halo 3: ODST outsold all 3 versions of Star Wars: FU combined.
First three quarters:
I’ve seen some reports of 360 Batman being at 202k.
With growth like that, the PS3 will catch up with the 360 in 5 short years!

PS3 - 24.6m (as of 8/5/2009)
Wii - 52.6m (as of 6/30/2009)
DS - 107.75m (as of 6/30/2009)
PSP - 55.9m (as of 8/2009)

I’m blown away Beatles outsold Guitar Hero!
Man for a system that’s been dubbed a failure like the PSP, it sure managed to sell a bunch of units.
Shame no one buys games for it.
You should review it again, see if that helps turn things around.
Maybe knocking off a few tenths from his Beatles score will help.
I’d be surprised if the exclusive DLC were really the reason for the PS3 version of Batman selling more copies this month. IMO it is far more likely that it is due to ODST coming out on the 360 (pulling away some sales during the later part of the month that may have otherwise gone to Batman 360) while the PS3 had no blockbuster exclusive to match, making Batman: AA the de facto standard recentish game to pick up with your new Slim.
