I was reading an article somewhere recently where the worry is they are going to be able to spoof a person’s voice.
Apparently, you can spoof US Presidents now too.

Yeah that being called from my own home number happened last week, I was impressed! I still don’t answer unless someone starts leaving a message.
I’ve been using the Google call screening thing lately, on which robocallers usually hang up. I’m iffy on fighting robots with robots from a Skynet perspective, though, and it does seem a little demeaning to human callers in a way that letting a call ring through to voicemail doesn’t.
