While there are enough flaws in Point Break that it can be done better, and Gerard Butler was pretty darned good in Chasing Mavericks, I’m still not ready to buy it.
Plus - helmets on the skydivers? WTF kind of adrenaline junkies are these guys?
The surfing looks pretty cool, but I’m guessing it’s as authentic as that rockslide.
Gerard Butler is not in the Point Break remake. As I mentioned above, you get Edgar Ramirez as Patrick Swayze.

Looks a lot more interesting than Fast & Furious to me, to be honest. Still won’t see in a theatre unless reviews indicate that it somehow immensely over delivers .
