We’ve talked a bit in the general election thread about Hillbilly Elegy: A Memoir of a Family and Culture in Crisis by J.D. Vance. It’s a terrific book, and besides being a well-written personal tale, it’s a great look into rural life and why the voters from those parts of the country vote the way they do.
