This was actually my title idea for a sequel when the first one comes out. I don’t think it necessarily implies an ‘Aliens’ style doubling down on the original idea. My idea was ‘They Follow’ would be about tracing the monster through its encounters back down to its Patient Zero. ‘They Follow The Trail’, in other words.
I hope that’s not it. I don’t want to know where it came from. But we’ll see.
