With the new possibility of putting 360 games on the hard drive, is it possible to play the games online if you lend the disc to a friend? My cousin bought a 360 for Christmas and I’d like to play some co-op with him. He’s not made of money so i was wondering if i rip the game to my hard drive and then lend the game to him, can we play co-op over Xbox live? Or are there some barriers implemented from Microsoft here?
No. Even if the game has been installed to the hard drive, you must have the DVD in the drive in order to play.
