I watched a little of the Giant Bomb quick look but was kind of turned off (as is more and more common lately) with the crew’s commentary (one guy literally didn’t understand his ship had weapons, for crying out loud, when he was first attacked by pirates and tried to flee). Also, Will using the Hotas was very evident - he was constantly overshooting his camera angle and then re-adjusting, something I always did when I played games with a stick myself, and something playing with a controller has sort of reduced and part of why I’m glad games like this are not only controller friendly, but recommend it.
Anyway, aside from @tbaldree’s excellent videos on the game, are there any that someone might recommend I watch this afternoon to “scratch that itch” at all? I’ve seen one by @BrianRubin of course, though it feels like that was awhile ago… oh, it was his stream, that’s right. So maybe someone else… you know what, maybe I should try out @GuildBoss’s video…?

This was my first time playing, and I try the M/KB first then my HOTAS. It’s not as well structured as my other streams because I’m learning as I go. This video is better, though I get my butt kicked a little -
Trust me on this, the gamepad is a ton better than mouse and keyboard, lol.
M/KB really requires some tuning for your mouse, setting precision and a deadzone. (Which we have settings for) Mice are just so dang different, and everybody has such wildly different cursor rates.
I hate fiddling with that stuff.

As a developer myself, I agree with you 100%. Good luck with the release, you’re going to do great as is evident from how you’ve been handling the streamer/review early release patching. I cannot wait to get my hands on this and start playing tomorrow!
