I did a quick google search and found multiple references to the game working under Wine, but since there have been a few patches since then you’ll have to try for yourself if it still works. Fwiw, the game runs just fine on very low end hardware - once on vacation I played it on a 4 year old laptop with i3 cpu and integrated intel graphics.
