In August I was lucky enough to head over to Iceland for an awesome two week road trip!
I travelled in a small “campervan”, which was sufficient for my needs but had nowhere near the creature comforts that an actual RV would provide…
Even though it was midsummer, I got hit by a cold front while travelling along the east & north coast so I even experienced some chilly weather with snow. Thus my time at the “Prometheus” waterfall was very limited as I was soaked to the bone and it felt like my fingers were freezing off. Took some pics and quickly headed back to the van…
The “diamond beach” was amazing, but due to climate change and summer temperatures, there was nowhere near as much ice lying around as I’ve seen in pics. (featured in the intro scene from Fortitude btw)
There was a viking village that gave me flashbacks to wandering around Skyrim.
