Crimson vow pre release is the 19th i thought? Does it vary by region?
Maybe my store is weird, i can’t pick up my pre release kits till the 19th.
Release date is the 19th; pre-release is this weekend.
Got to play in a Mystery Booster draft tonight. It’s effectively chaos draft since there’s like 1500 possible cards in those boosters, plus the playtest cards. Ended up going green-blue with my first pick, Form of the Mulldrifter, although I think the Squidnapper won me more games. Good prize support from the store, ended up with a pretty decent haul.
There’s a Van Helsing card? They have Dracula in the game now?
It’s a crossover variant of a regular Magic card (the original card name is shown in smaller font).
So is there a Dracula card? I think a standalone Hollywood Monsters MtG deck would be fun.
Like @Scotch_Lufkin said, they’re different skins on regular cards. Here’s the full list for Dracula. They’ve also done similar things for some other IPs, including Godzilla a few sets back.

LR recently put up their Ice Age + Alliances retrospective pod, and no lie it hit me in some pretty good feels.

Not as hilarious as the Fallen Empires one, but Fallen Empires is nonpareil when it comes to comedy so fair play.

+4/+0 is enough to make one copy worth the drawbacks in limited with evasion, sure. Absolute pantsing when the bearer gets killed though, assuming a limited environment somewhere on the normal part of the tempo bell curve.
Yeah, it’s not great - even in limited, I suspect, but I don’t think we’ve seen an abundance of removal yet so the jury’s out.
