The nice bonus to that is that even though the save games don’t work, having it be a different title means you can double up on all the achievements if you play through the game again for the GOTY version.
But, I don’t have that kind of time. The Witcher 3 took 6 months the first time. Even if I did play it again and played it faster by going only for the story, it would still require too much time. Maybe 3 months this time? The opportunity cost is to not play another excellent game from the backlog, not watch qt3 streams, don’t watch any TV or movies for 3 months, etc. I loved Witcher 3, and I love getting achievements on the Xbox platforms, but that’s going too far even for me. ;-)
