I read about this one some time, perhaps on RPS. It was definitely on Sin Vega’s “Unknown Pleasures” RPS column that I just heard it was out, and while I’m hip deep in RDR2 right now, this one is 100% on my list.
I was very intrigued by the premise when I first read about it, and honestly if I wasn’t in the middle of an RDR2 playthrough I’d buy it right now.

They call it a stealth game, primarily. The touchstone for most people seems to be Far Cry.
Good question. The pacification of some tribes, the Comanche for example, took quite a long time, so a “you drove them off…for now” win would not be ahistorical.
