Ok, when he does inevitably pass away, it must not be posted in this thread. Every time this gets bumped, I think, “oh no, not him!”.
Friends, I respectfully request that we not be so afraid of the inevitability of death that we forget to celebrate life.
This isn’t so much about being in denial about James Hong’s mortality to me as it is about this thread briefly being Schrödinger’s Hong every time someone posts to it.
I don’t think denial plays a part here. We genuinely like the guy.
It also serves to remind that I am overdue for another viewing of Big Trouble in Little China
