Most Sci Fi Channel shows haven’t really grabbed me although I’ve watched several. This one looks like it could go either way but I’m not sure. The casting, for one thing, looks great but then again, I’m a sucker for Alan Cummings and think Zooey Deschanel is very cute.
SciFi’s miniseries are usually good, and this one might be good, but someday, what I really would love is a truer retelling of the story. Both this and the classic one we’ve all seen are at the extreme ends of interpretations of the actual book.
Alternatively, I would love to see movies done from some of the other books. WTB Ozma please. :( I always wished I was her when I was a little kid.
