Argh I know I’m so frustrated about that. I don’t know if I’ll ever break 68 again.

For example, not today: 56. Started out promising but didn’t really come together in the end.

Screwed up by not allowing space for things, thought I could carve a lake and couldn’t and got boned by a couple late picks.

Still managed a 55 because I was on pace for 65.

This one was a tragedy. I thought I was doing pretty well until I got hosed by a choice to put a house in that row and an equally impossible-to-put-on-an-island church. So frustrating! If only I hadn’t made the island dip in like that–which I did just out of whimsy. Garrr. (59)

Actually, now that I count it up, if I hadn’t made the island dip in, I would have got +5 (no penalty), +2 (church), and +3 (house), making my total… wait for it… 69. 69 is the bane of my existence. I hate you, 69.
