They are making Top Gun 2. I have questions.

Will it have homoerotic volleyball?

Will the movie be realistic, with 2 guys in a Super Hornet flying racetracks using the ATFLIR to look at trucks, followed by an occasional bomb drop and the aviators having to prove that their aircraft is the most loved by Pentagon accountants due to lower $ per hour?

I vote for deadly dogfight between predators drone pilots. An almost retired pilot played by aging Tom Cruise with an extra 20 lbs. He gave up flying real planes in attempt to save his marriage after his wife played by Kelly McGillis, decides that she really is a lesbian (Kelly came out while ago after two marriages and two kids). Tom’s nemesis is pimply face kid, call sign 3l1te who bears a striking resemblance to Mark Z. Needless to say the kid has never flown a real plane, but routinely embarrassed Tom’s with his impressive drone piloting skills. 31lte of course is banging some hottie like Megan Fox.

It should be set in the near future, and be a John Henry story, where aging Maverick must prove human pilots can still compete versus the new wave of largely-unpiloted drones…if they’re Top Gun enough. He has to overcome a crisis of faith, because drones don’t even respond to inverted fingers, and the drone wranglers don’t even invite him into their homoerotic volleyball games, or when they do, they’re not nearly so nice with their shirts off. To add insult to injury, the new line of automated drones is named The Goose, named that in order to mock him (the head of the drone project is one of those guys who spilled coffee on himself due to wacky flybys), but that backfires because it only enrages him. He pulls so many G’s in the final dogfights that he dies after triumphing, but saves the free world by it so it’s a bittersweet moving victory.
