Isn’t there someway to transfer non-iTunes songs from my new iPod to my work computer? I still buy CDs, rip them as high bit MP3s, then add them to the iPod. But apparently the iPod will only transfer songs purchased from iTunes?
Mediamonkey seems to be working. Stupid iTunes.
Last time I tried, I put the iPod into disk mode, copied the files over manually (which, unfortunately are named with random characters) and added them to my iTunes using the “Add Folder” command. Not the greatest solution, but it worked.
Don’t know if it’d still work with later gen iPods. I was using a 4th gen (IIRC).
Did this with my 5th gen Video, and it worked fine.
This is the simplest solution.
