One of the more remarkable things about this entire story is how the House Republicans behaved. They launched their investigation for the purpose of supporting Trump and ‘proving’ that nothing untoward happened in the Trump campaign or the 2016 elections, and what they accomplished instead was ensnaring key players in crimes of obstruction and perjury; basically gifting sources and evidence to the Mueller investigation.
Edit: You can bet that Mueller knows who the senior campaign officials communicating with Stone were, and that he has the goods on them, too.
On Dec 1st, 2017, Roger Stone and “Person 2” discussed “doing a Frank Pentangeli” multiple times. That’s the character from The Godfather 2 that lies to Congress.
