Avenatti arrested for violating terms of his bail release. Not sure which of the three pending federal cases it was, but his arrest happened at his state bar license suspension hearing.
And all of that is either hilarious or sad or both at the same time.
Seems like it’s not the first time.
Avenatti is an asshole, but is there any reason to think he’s an escape risk? Or that he’s likely to be violent in prison? They have him on 24-hour lockdown in solitary.
Maybe they are concerned about him getting shivved in genpop.
He’s being held in the same place that Epstein was so he’s probably safer just about anywhere else.
Remember, the enemy of your enemy is not necessarily your friend.
I’m pretty sure we all thought he was a slimy piece of shit from the beginning. Would have been nice if he could have resisted his slimy urges for a bit though.
