Bruce (@Brooski) asked me to set up a new thread for a new, hopefully bigger Twilight Struggle Tournament. This time with a prize for the winner! (Prize TBD).
The last tournament ended with @Mark_L’s Soviets defeating the previously undefeated @Greatatlantic on points on turn 10.

Here’s how I remember the last tournament…
I’m theoretically up for it as long as the time control isn’t too brutal.
I hope the time requirement can be relaxed: I think forcing people to play in real time would restrict the pool. We can just agree on a clock timer for each game.
I think half my games were played asynchronous. The problem with it, is it can take a long time to finish a game if the players are only getting in 1 turn or so day. Perhaps a 7 day timer (per player) is sufficient?
The games I played in the last tourney were all set for 45 days, and finishing quickly was never an issue. I know I was getting in several turns a day.

I can totally do a 7 day timecontrol for a tourney. Pretty much can’t ever play “real time”.
