UK movie ratings are going to be slightly more prudish

Headline focuses on sex, but violence is also getting tightened up a bit, while cannabis and solvent abuse may be loosened. Mainly around the 12/12A/15 boundaries.

OK, now I’m confused. Assuming the doc on the website is actually the new guidelines, I don’t really see how they reflect the commentary. The rating specific guidelines for sex and violence at 12A/12 and 15 are essentially the same, albeit with different wording in some cases. And if anything the section on sex in the general guidelines is looser:
