In some ways, it seems to be a step back from War of the Roses. Most unlocks are cosmetic now, whereas in Roses everything had different stats; sometimes in an unbalanced way.
In other ways, it appears Fatshark has built on what they’ve learned and improved the game.
I know this is anathema around here, but this game and its predecessor probably would fare better as F2P titles.
Edit: Yes, I know there is a “free” version of Roses, but it’s gimped to be a demo. I mean a full F2P release.
