Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor - Martyr

Sororitas? The meat substitute at Chipotle?

Sororitas. You know, the W40K Rule 34 Space Marine faction.

Not the ones that humiliate you during rush week?

That works too.

New season info – Season 7 - The Season of Malediction – is up on the compendium, and it looks like a fun one:

Can’t wait to roll a new flamer Sororitas.

This is such a great game, but for some odd reason, I get distracted from it quite easily.

Fair, there are so many good games out there.

So I loaded up Inquisitor for the first time in weeks to deal with my seasonal cache – which y’all should do soon if you have a seasonal character – and the itch to play some missions came back, so I just did one or two. God damn it felt great. Even though I’m playing a lot of Diablo IV right now, it just doesn’t have the visceral punch of this game.

What’s with all the bad recent reviews for this game?

Looks like most folks are still complaining about the online-only requirement. Same thing since beta.

Game is cheap on https://gamesplanet.com/

New season starts next Tuesday!!

Which, again, you can read more about here:

Can’t wait to roll a new Sororitas!

Stop it! Every time you wax enthusiastic about this game, I have to download it and play again!

Well the new season is about to begin, so that’s a perfect time to jump back in.

I know. Still working on D4 though, but I’ll think about it :).

Honestly - this games moment-to-moment gameplay is much better than Diablo 4’s.

Depends on the mood I’m in. The meta game of Diablo is much more satisfying, to me, as are the environments. The actual combat tends to have a better feel in Inquisitor, though in terms of setting I’m really on the fence between Warhammer 40K’s wonkiness and Diablo’s generic fantasy spam. Neither is really that wonderful. Graphically, Diablo wins by a country mile, but then, Blizzard has more artists working on one portion of Diablo 4 than Neocore has on every single game they’ve every made.

Itemization and progression, along with moment to moment play, are the key things in an ARPG for me. Both these games have pros and cons in that respect. I find they are really like different types of food. Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don’t.

I agree. The violence is also much more satisfying here as well. D4 is great though, but it’s different enough that both are viable.

If only we could drop an powerarmor-wearing Inquisitor into D4.
