Well despite my good intentions, it turned out that I didn’t play a single videogame for the whole weekend! I did get some great work done though, and who knew that “fixing the carburetor on the pump motor” would turn out to be so satisfying?
I got as far as seeing the start menu for surviving mars this weekend. Maybe later tonight after I get home I can play some. Free time later is not looking very plausible.

I finished:
I stopped half-way through over a year ago. Not because it wasn’t fun, but because it got too hard. :( I reinstalled all 80GB(!), turned down the difficulty and played through to the end. Quite fun.
I’m also at the tale end of:
I recall everyone hating it. I’m going to rock the boat and say… it’s fine. It has all the problems of a Borderlands game, though. But I am enjoying my return to the franchise.
…amplified, which is why I hated it. Although it may have just been me getting tired of Borderlands and it’s number-shooter formula in general. (“Billions of guns!” Yes, but 99.999999% of them are vendor trash.)
Yeah, I am very surprised to see myself - having felt thoroughly done with the formula after Borderlands 2 - return to the franchise over the last couple months, playing through a bunch of DLC and a spin-off and for the most part enjoying the experience. Inexplicable.
I didn’t hate it, but it’s got the weakest level design, and the worst character skills, in the franchise. I’ve played through BL1 a couple of times and through BL2 and DLC several - I played through the Pre-Sequel once and have no desire to ever go back.
I upgraded my VR pit almost to perfection so I will be flying the fuck out of the weekend.

I fly VR so i dont give a rats ass to how it looks. The throttle isnt in the pic, but it sits on a box on my left side. It feels perfect. Still cant do AAR in the tomcat tho.
The final touch will be getting rid of the wheels on the chair.
