I played a bunch of Rebel Galaxy Outlaw yesterday and got the story mission for Marla, but it’s clear I have no chance of completing it in the Sonora.
Today (thanks to our own Mr. Rubin’s recent YT series) I’ve fired up my old save of Far Cry 2, last played 5* years ago, heh. Underappreciated game by many.
*EDIT: I tell a lie. Actually, per the record of saves, it was 6 years old. Apparently I bought the game in 2010 (probably during the Christmas sale) and on that occasion played it during one day.
When time permits, I’ve been getting into Final Fantasy XIV, since a friend recently bought me a 60-day time card to get me to play it with him. I’ve specifically been in the mood to play something with dungeons and raids and the like, so it’s been a good fit, and I’ve been enjoying stuff in it a lot. I really dig how easy it is to swap between the various combat and crafting classes after unlocking them - just equip the class-specific weapon or mainhand item, and you’ve switched to that class.

This weekend I hope to get my jet on. I’ve been rediscovering how much fun Wild Weaseling is. The hornet is a fat pig that takes forever to regain smack, but with no viper in the stable, it will do.

This weekend will be about Gears 5 and the Ghost Recon beta.
Trying to finish up, or at least reach a stopping point with:
Playing a bit of this with friends:

If time permits (and it probably won’t, I’ve been crazy busy lately) I’d love to really start digging into:

I’m almost disappointed to have finished Dark Souls 3, so none of that this weekend. I guess I could go NG+…
Anyway, so some Remnant: From the Ashes which remains f… oh sorry, I have run out of my allocation of that word. Also Cat Quest which is a pretty good distraction.
Yay Cat Quest! Glad to see you playing a real game @krayzkrok after that newb skill level stuff in Dark Souls 3.
Let’s see what I want to play this weekend the most:
And perhaps a bit of:
Sadly I am working the weekend, so I’ll probably only have time for some Antihero on my phone. :(

I’ll play some Anno 1800 while the UPlay+ trial is in effect. Maybe do a couple missions in Monster Hunter World. Not sure if I’ll get to it this weekend, but I want to play some other games available n UPlay+ like South Park and the newest Trials game.

Sitting on planes and in airports for the next 17 hours, then 2 days of team meetings in Portugal before the start of the Linux Plumbers Conference. So no gaming for me unless it is on the phone or tablet.

Man, this weekend snuck up on me.
I just finished Chapter 6, time to work on 7. So far I enjoy the boss fights in this game more than other Platinum games because these guys only have one health bar so far, and because the bosses are actual creatures and not glorified set pieces.
Another weekend, more Monst…
We have detected a crazy and generous @Chappers sending something toward you.
Nice! @Chappers is good people.
How many people is Chappers exactly?
That’s a weird little expression, isn’t it?
We are whatever you want us to be.
We’ll mostly be trying to kill the final boss in Remnant this weekend and advising Dave on tips for Divinity original sin 2.
I’m desperately trying to arrange a Saturday morning Gears of War 5 Horde mode session for an hour before I go to work, and before my son wakes up, and my wife will still be out on her morning walk. The plan involves my brother in Portland, Oregon to wake up early and play with us from 6:30 to 7:30 am. We’ll see if this plan survives the real world. If it does, this will be the first time we’ll be playing Horde together since we last played Gears of War 2 after all the map packs for Horde were out.
Hoping to finish up Final Fantasy XII.
Also, one or more of the following:
-
Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition (never did get to play my Xbox 360 version, so happy they re-released this on the Xbox One, have only played Tales of Symphonia on the GC, but really liked it).
-
Divinity Original Sin II (have tried to play this a few times over the last few months but damn is the combat freaking hard in this game and stuck somewhere after only a couple of hours).
-
Monster Hunter World, Resident Evil 2, Red Dead Redemption II - really don’t want to end this year without having played one of these three games I got at the end of 2018 and have have barely put any time into.
My backlog is so ridiculously out of control, it gives me anxiety and choice paralysis - I spend more time trying to decide what to play (and reading about games) than playing.
