So today Windows 7 x64 tells me that I’ve failed to install a whole raft of updates, important ones, going back as far as 2011. I know that’s impossible because I install them religiously every month. I ran a full Malwarebytes scan which turned up nothing, but I’m paranoid now. Anyone else running into something like this recently? I think I’m off to bleepingcomputer.com forums now.
EDIT: Never mind, a SPAZ is me. When the action center nagged me to set my updates to install automatically, I left the box checked for “Install recommended updates when installing important ones” so it proceeded to download all the “recommended” ones since forever.
