Wiping an SSD?

I’ve got an old SSD that used to be the main SSD for my desktop before I replaced it with a bigger SSD. I’d like to use it for extra storage on the Xbox. Is there anything I should be doing to clean wipe the data on it before getting the Xbox to format it for game storage?

It’s got financial information and such on it from when it was my desktop main storage.

Thanks @lordkosc

Is it normally harder or easier to recover data from an SSD versus an HDD?
