Xbox 360 headset question

Voice cuts in and out using the 360 slim prepackaged headset that is wireless…it connects with the controller

Is the voice reception any better if I wire the controller to the Xbox? The headset is attached to the controller

Any other advice to improve the headset voice communications?

As long as I’ve had a 360 headset (Since EU Launch of the 360) the voice quality has been pretty… shit. Only ever used Wired headset though, and to both wireless and wired controller.
