The normal bacteria that infect CF lungs that we try to keep in check went crazy from me working too hard outside. As I lost the ability to breathe (due to pneumonia) I kept thinking it was fatigue from working so hard. Instead the pseudomonas and staph were growing like crazy and my lung was being flooded by extraneous fluids.
Ah nasty. Please don’t work too hard again! :)
