Holy shit that Synergy is cool. I’m doing development on Linux and PC, and the massive time saver is the fact that I can copy and paste text between the two machines.
I think I need a bigger desk, or smaller monitors, as I’m having a hard time getting comfortable now that my two monitors are right next to each other.
XPav, what size are the monitors? I have a 19" and a 17", and while the 19" sits in front of me like a normal monitor, the 17" is about 3.5 feet to the right, and 1 foot back from the position of the 19", and it’s angled toward me at around 30 degrees. Works perfect; even at 1280x960, I can perfectly read the names of people on my buddy list, as are the song titles in the WinAMP.
I’m now running two 19"'s and two 17"'s (1600x1200 and 1280x1024) as my work desktop thanks to that synergy link that was posted earlier.
I uh win I think.
BTW four monitor multi tasking rocks.
