You never know what people are leaving to explore later. 40 hours isn’t bad assuming you’ve cleared out all of Limgrave, the island to the south, maybe a few other connected zones that would be a spoiler to talk about.
The first area of the game is where I spent the biggest chunk of time, but the game gets… bigger…
