Mega Man?

Wing Commander: Privateer

This might be a bit tricky actually.

I feel like @brianrubin should know this one. His street cred is on the line and he’s got a reputation to maintain.

As for me, I’m guessing: Galaxy Trucker (okay, totally wrong era, what with the password copy protection or save system, or whatever it’s for).

I feel like ā€˜password feature’ implies a cartridge, i.e. a save game system? I can’t recall many boxes advertising a copy protection scheme.

All that said, no idea.

God I dunno, I’m guessing either Starglider or Epic.

Every time I see prominent red bubble things like that I imagine a lightgun game, like Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future by the Babylon 5 guy, J.M. Straczynski.

Thexder?

My parents banned me from playing Thexder because they thought I’d get addicted to video games.

Total success.

And no correct answers yet.
Next one will be a huge reveal!!!

Al Capone’s vault level huge! I mean, hey, this game is probably from the same era as that reveal.

ā€œAl Capone’s vaultā€ Oo

Woah, it’s one of those toad/mushroom guys from the Super Mario games. They got their own game? I’m going to guess it was called Toad.

Astro Chase

Cosmic Conflict

Jesus, I thought I knew all the NES games with a password feature, but I’ve never seen this one. Gah, and based on the art alone it looks like it would have been right up my alley (cool 80s space scene, replete with space craft).

And since it’s got the Nintendo Seal of Quality, it shouldn’t be that obscure to me. I feel like I should know this.

There is always a trick…
