This might be a bit tricky actually.
I feel like @brianrubin should know this one. His street cred is on the line and heās got a reputation to maintain.
As for me, Iām guessing: Galaxy Trucker (okay, totally wrong era, what with the password copy protection or save system, or whatever itās for).
I feel like āpassword featureā implies a cartridge, i.e. a save game system? I canāt recall many boxes advertising a copy protection scheme.
All that said, no idea.
God I dunno, Iām guessing either Starglider or Epic.
Every time I see prominent red bubble things like that I imagine a lightgun game, like Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future by the Babylon 5 guy, J.M. Straczynski.
My parents banned me from playing Thexder because they thought Iād get addicted to video games.

Woah, itās one of those toad/mushroom guys from the Super Mario games. They got their own game? Iām going to guess it was called Toad.
Jesus, I thought I knew all the NES games with a password feature, but Iāve never seen this one. Gah, and based on the art alone it looks like it would have been right up my alley (cool 80s space scene, replete with space craft).
And since itās got the Nintendo Seal of Quality, it shouldnāt be that obscure to me. I feel like I should know this.
