So, is this developers/publishers just again failing to understand an awesome part of their previous experiences, or is the HW just not up to it, based on their graphical target.
My bet is sadly a bit of both.
Either way, I’m out. Couch co-op is how I’ve experienced every Halo title with my wife. I’m not about to drop the cash for a second One.
I’m saddened by the loss of couch co-op as well. I really enjoyed playing through the Halo campaigns with my kids.

Speculation is that they’re adding Battlefield style packs to MP.
… a 250$ Halo game? wow. Haven’t spent that much on a single title since Steel Battalion, and that one came with an awesome controller.
Requisition packs sounds like something you’ll find in a EA Battlefield game, “buy a random chance to unlock stuff”. Probably a clever mode from a $ perspective, even if it will piss some people off.
The $250 version is the one with the statue. Looks like you get the same content as the Limited Edition plus the statue for $150 extra. The nice thing about those Collector’s Edition is that they usually make so many, they get really cheap later. Halo 3 originally came out with the Master Chief helmet, and it was really expensive, but after a couple of months we were able to get it for about $60. And it is a nice looking helmet as a decoration piece of the living room.
What kind of nerd has a Master Chief statue?

My first reaction on seeing the $250 price tag was “wow! That’s a great deal on an Xbox One with Halo bundled in.”
