Thanks to Xemu, there will be a prize awarded for playing in this tournament!

But rather than simply reward the winner, I would like to reward everyone (so to speak) for playing. At the end of the tournament, everyone will get one “ticket” tossed into the hat, plus two extra tickets for every win. Then I’ll draw a name at random using random.org’s list generator.

This strikes me as a nice way to reward winning while also giving everyone a shot simply for having played.

Xemu got his mitts on two prizes, and I’ll let the holder of the winning ticket choose between them (and we’ll save the other prize for the next tournament):

Nah, it was a good match. Early on I thought you had it, because you were building up a reserve advantage. It wasn’t until I managed to stall you out and put some damage on the crystals that I felt at all confident.

In retrospect, the best thing that could have happened to me was the death of my annihilator; it forced me to stop futzing around and pressure Mark’s crystal.
