I watched the first season last year and loved it. Definitely had an old school feel, like I was watching a show from the late 70s, early 80s as far as pacing, structure, camera work. Refreshing for its lack of crazy, unbelievable plot twists; it’s pretty straightforward and it works.
The highlight for me, besides the setting, was the main actor. What a great performance. Need to start season 2, soon.
