What the heck was that beastie in the last panel? Purple Worm? I’m trying to think of D&D worm-type monsters that are undead or extraplanar and would challenge a high level party. Purple Worm is the only thing I can come up with but I don’t recall that being dead or extraplanar.
I guess if Hel first summons a purple worm, it’s inherently extraplanar for the gate spell because she summoned it on her plane.

Why is Roy still held while Durkon is free? Do you get an extra save attempt when hit?
Clerics usually have good will saves, since Wisdom is their main stat. And with fighters usually having wisdom as their dump stat… ;)

Someone on the forum posted the intro of those characters.
Not likely, since Reflex saves are tied to Dexterity and that’s not a very common stat among dwarves. ;)
