There are a whole bunch of poorly worded questions, like “It bothers me that many American companies have moved jobs overseas,” and " I am troubled by the eroding distinction between entertainment and marketing." What it’s actually asking in those questions is whether or not you think the government should regulate those things, but it doesn’t ask that. It just asks if those things bother you, which is not at all the same thing. The first run through, I got “strong democrat” (86% socially permissive and 53% economically permissive), which is absurd. I went back and reanswered the questions with the assumption that “It bugs me that…” is code for “There should be laws regulating…” and got:
