Qt3 Movie Podcast Pledge Drive/Listener's Choice Lottery

I assume you mean Wild Things.

I wonder if there are good documentaries on any of these subjects…

If you haven’t yet listened to the Jane Got a Gun podcast, you can jump to the 01:58:20 mark of the podcast to hear Tom list the listener choices and Dingus and Kelly laugh or you can read all 57 choices here. Tom listed the choices from least votes to most votes but he didn’t give totals for any individual pick so as not to influence the picks. Thank you for putting up this list, marquac. I’m glad you did because I was worried I laughed over a couple of the choices. In particular a late choice of a movie I’d never heard of called Pumpkin, which was sent in by unconventional means.

We only have votes from Winnipeg, sir.

The big winner this week was Seventh Seal which moved up quite a lot. Remember you still have until February 21 at 9 PM California time to donate and vote for the movie you would like to listen to the guys talk about on the February 28th podcast.

I now feel like I need to donate more just to further dilute the chance that A Serbian Film will be picked.

Oh cool. Jaws. We could finally get to hear what the guys think of Jaws.

I really like some of these choices. As much as I wish I could make the funds happen to shoot Emmet Otter’s Jugband Christmas to the top spot, I’m throwing in with Crank: High Voltage.

Well, I just threw a few bucks in for The Craft. Fingers crossed!

Just a reminder folks, the deadline to donate and get a vote or multiple votes for the Make Tom, Dingus and Kelly Watch Whatever You Want Fund Drive is this Sunday night at 9PM California (Pacific) time. There’s still time to vote for such classic movies as Hot Dog The Movie, Up the Creek, Dark Star or the animated Transformers movie.

I’m feeling good about my one buck’s 50% chance of winning.

The results are in, but rather than spoil it here, I suggest you go listen to the Hail Caesar podcast. The reveal starts at the 1:45 mark. If, however, you just want to know the winner, it is…

C’mon, don’t click this! You should listen instead, even if just to hear the reactions!

The Goonies

-Tom

The rich win again! #Bernie2016

Groan!

Darn. Not that it would have made a difference but I counted 2761 votes rather than 2756.

I don’t know why but I was surprised Tom ordered the movies the way he did. I would have expected the 1s to be at the start of the list. Kinda curious what would have won if that happened.

Assuming that movies would be listed alphabetically if they had the same vote totals, I believe that Armageddon would be the winner.

/fistbump for the other person who wanted to hear the six Wandopses from Wild Tales. We’ll get 'em next time!
