Well, I just saw the scans floating around the net and I can officially confirm that Quake 4 is Doom III.

Quake II was boring and stupid and I hate stroggos, so I’m not looking forward to this. Halo was basically Quake 2.5 anyway - do we really need another one of these pretending-to-be-an-unstoppable-space-marine-helps-me-to-forget-about-how-much-of-a-pathetic-loser-I-am-in-real-life games?

Whereas I completely agree with you that Quake 2 was boring (one word: hubs), as long as they keep making 12-year-olds, they’ll keep making these games.

Well this 34 year old 12 year old enjoyed it. More so than Half-Life for that matter. So if they keep making them, good!
