Overall it kinda depresses me that there are hundreds of thousands playing Fortnite and PUBG because of reasons I really don’t get…and this, my beloved BR game, probably won’t make it.
edit: meanwhile …some guy named Forsen stopped playing, loosing, … and took 12k viewers with him. clever PR guys should have rigged that game!

Well, I’m acutally quite ‘sad’, well… sad might be too strong a word.
nevertheless…pacing, gunplay, map size, shrinking mechanic, loot, setting/atmosphere, - oh god, how I dislike those grim war zones in PUBG - …potential of the setting… potential of the game/possible mechanics… I’ll miss it.

Get out of game development if you have a family. Or even if you don’t.
Why is this game-specific? How is this different from any of the other thousands of IT start-ups that shut down every month because the money well dried up?
Or the story of a thousand employees getting called to a big auditorium to be told their canned having to immediately,clean their desks out and escorted out.
