Sir, you are being hunted

Multiplayer “test” is being released on July 1st.

Yeah, it’s interesting to compare it to Invisible Inc. When I played Sir, I thought “I guess procedurally generated worlds just don’t work with stealth games” - but then Invisible Inc. came along and proved me wrong.

Invisible Inc. is based on discrete, manageable gameplay units of time - action points - and space - rooms. Because of that they were able to make little bundles of effective gameplay, then randomize the layouts using those units and still have everything work.

Sir, on the other hand, was based on wide open spaces and real-time movement/combat, which made the problem of making a fun level much, much harder to crack.

Maybe it just needs more crazy in it’s landscape algorithm? I nearly got this in the GoG sale, like others have mentioned the atmosphere and setting seems great, but well it just didn’t make my cut this time - so many games to play!

I caved and got it for $2, I’ll at least give it a try.
