There is now a tutorial of some sorts - this was noted on the forums today. Don’t know how good it is or how much detail it provides but it is supposedly there.

HAS IT NOW?!

Yes, he said in the post right above yours :) I’ll also note that there is apparently a “Help Guide” in the main menu according to the developer.

BAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

YAY!

I feel so much better.

Also, MAKE THE TUTORIAL SEPARATE THEN.

So will you review this now?! It looks pretty interesting to me :)

I was gonna review it regardless, just not for a week or two. I only have so much time, you know. You can always see what’s coming up here:

I might push it back a week though since I just got a key for 60 Parsecs, which did come out before it.

Well look guys, Final Theory now does have a guide. Whew.

This should help a LOT.

Old Skool rulez!

No skool like the old skool.

Limit Theory throws in the towel, surprising no and one.

Thats a shame, but yeah, its been coming, or not coming for years now.

Too bad. I was hoping to get it in a bundle with That Which Sleeps.

Heh yeah, no bundles. Writing’s been on the wall for years with this one. It’s because of this and Enemy Starfighter that I’ve learned to SERIOUSLY lower my expectations.

Which has led to some lovely surprises like this wonderful thing:

Sad news, that guy had so many great ideas, too bad it couldn’t come to fruition.

Josh is obviously a very smart and talented programmer - I hope he finds a stable position somewhere so he can continue to do what he obviously loves doing, but without the stress of being a one man show.

That would be ideal. He clearly has talent, he just needs talented people around him.

It was heartening to read the comments to his post. I had expected vile accusations and anger.

Josh came across as very genuine throughout the entire development process. Sure, he bit off more than he could chew, but damn if he didn’t try his best despite this. He got bogged down for many months trying to make his code better and better - the equivalent of rewriting the same paragraph over and over - rather than focusing on the bigger picture, that’s inexperience. I feel glad to have contributed a little to give him a chance to try, which to me is what Kickstarter should be all about and not some kind of wish-fulfillment service. But I think the fact he came across as being very human is reflected in the support he’s received from his backers.

Running out of Kickstarter projects to follow now! :(

Catastronauts was released yesterday! Overcooked meets… FTL? Either way, I played it earlier in the year at Rezzed and it was shaping up nicely. Hoping to pick this up once I’m done with Overcooked 2.

On Steam, PS4, Xbox and Switch. No online play but on PC there’s Parsec for that which works really well (it’s a miracle to be fair).
