Well, over a the Kool-Aid factory, hubris, apathy, and regret aside, a lot of things are slowly sinking in. Precisely as I’d predicted (when I said the game Chris scoped could never - ever - be built)
This will never launch. The only question is how big will the fireball be when it crashes?
And at what framerate the fireball renders.
And how much is a .jpeg of the fireball?
lol, that made me actually laugh out loud.
How much do you have?
I suspect they will launch something just to say they did.
I think they will, if only to provide some form of defense – however flimsy – to at least only give them civil and not criminal exposure.
45 minutes for a ship to leave the atmosphere? That just seems needlessly excessive, but I’m pretty sure that’s the motto for this whole “game.”
Bullet point right there.
“Star Citizen - Needlessly excessive” (or expensive)
I’ve never wanted a game to set it’s sights LOWER before…
All I wanted was Squadron 42 and some multiplayer space sim stuff… maybe a small-ish sandbox.
I was a day 1 supporter, and I only have about $65 in the mix, but I don’t even play it. I was hoping S42 would come out first and the MP game would follow… But now I’m just sitting here waiting for S42 and I don’t really care about the MP part anymore.
Is it a good book? Maybe I’ve read it.
If you read this thread you have essentially read the galley proofs. :)
I heard the going rate is $1000
Cheap at twice the price. </deluded fanboi>
so far I’m only in for $65. If they literally only deliver Squadron 42, I’ll be happy.
To be clear, the fanboi thing was not directed at you.
oh, I know. Just putting that out there that I am the opposite of a fanboi. I wanted to just make sure that was totally understood. I helped kickstart it and then I changed my ship from the Aurora to the Avenger because it was more fun to fly.
The Clang model.
