Steam Winter Sale Damage Thread

So far:

Darkest Dungeon
Planet Coaster - played this for 5 hours straight tonight.

Burning up some of my Steam credit gifts on one major purchase and a load of little ones

Pillars of Eternity (the one ‘big’ purchase that will probably eat up all of my free time)

Learn Japanese To Survive! Hiragana Battle
Craft The World
Papers, Please
FortressCraft Evolved
Besiege
Castleminer Z
Starwars Republic Commando
Enemy
Executive Assault
Arcanum
Car Mechanic Simulator 2015
Infested Planet
Sanctum 2

Not much yet:

Batman: Arkham Knight
Homefront: The Revolution - Freedom Fighter Bundle

and keeping an eye on this thread to see if I missed anything.

Waking Mars
Invisible, Inc.
Rocksmith 2014 - Remastered

I’m thinking about the story pack for Stellaris, but it’s not discounted at all. Maybe next year.

The search feature being completely broken in Steam has prevented me from making a few purchases today.

Adding to this:

Never Alone collection $3.25 (I’ve played through the main game, but was curious about the DLC)
Just Cause 3 XL $21.12

Total so far: $45+

Dog Sled Saga
Hand of Fate
Kerbal Space Program
Soma
Stardew Valley
Duskers x 2
The Witcher x 6

Since the prices would be in Canadian dollars I don’t think it’s worth posting them.

Add to that the fact that not a single game was for yourself, and that’s like cheating!

Thank you, Chris…

So far my damage during this sale has been pretty light since I bought quite a bit during the Thanksgiving sale.

Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun
INSIDE x 2

Free to Me
Sid Meiers Pirates (Green Man Gaming bonus free game)
The Flame in the Flood (gift)

I’m still not totally out of the woods yet though. Still considering:
Shadow Warrior 2
SuperHot
Salt and Sanctuary
Some Pinball FX 2 tables

Very light winter sale for me, been sick since the 22nd haven’t had much time to play anything yet alone think about buying new games.

My damage so far:

The Division Season Pass (GMG) $17
Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition (WinGameStore) $8

My haul through steam or otherwise:

Abzu
Seraph
Duskers (Gift)
BattleLore: Command (Gift)
House of the Dying Sun
Lost Castle (if any of you want to play online co-op then let me know)
The Banner Saga 2
Dog Sled Saga (Gift)
Sid Meier’s Pirates!

Ask me in 2019 how these games were as that is when I will get round to playing them.

Some new sims. Basically, ones that I can play with my xbox controller since it’s a pain to hide away my x-45 now that my ‘office’ is in the living room to make room for the new baby. Also things I can casually play with a bump on my lap.

-Aerofly FS 2
+NYC DLC
+Swiss DLC
-American truck Sim
-Euro Truck2: Going East + Scandinavia DLC.
-Rage (picking up all my FPS’s 5 years later.)

I’ve been having a great time with American Truck Simulator myself.

My damage wasn’t bad.

Age of Empire 2 HD and all DLC
Age of Mythology HD and all DLC
Rise of Nations

So, I guess I’m on an RTS kick for a while. Anyway, I’m trying to setup on multiplayer here on the forum, if anyone is interested.

Have any of you guys actually played all of the games you bought during the Fall sale?

I havent. But so far I’ve managed to not buy any games during the winter sale.

Yeah. I should have been prepared for that.

Here’s my total:

Warbands: Bushido - $6.99
Ys VI - $4.99
Seraph - $4.41
Starward Rogue - $2.99
Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition - $9.99
Battle Brothers - $15.99

$45.36 (technically $36.29 from buying Steam gift cards at 20% off).

I am 8 out of 16. I didn’t necessarily finish 8, but I did at least play them for a while.

Oh, I bought RimWorld as a gift for @Scotch_Lufkin, too.
Add Sorcery! Parts 1-4.
Add all the Total War: Warhammer DLC, which was not on sale, and my total sale/not on sale holiday game/accessory damage is um…$212.87

I can’t really complain about the number considering the sheer amount of stuff. The on-sale Blue Yeti mic + Watch Dogs 2 was too good of a deal on something that is normally nearly $50 more without a $60 game on top of it.
