The Summer of Gaming / E3 2020 thread

I didn’t like the original, but finished it (PS2). I didn’t like R&CF: Tools of Destruction(PS3), didn’t finish it. I LOVED R&CF: A Crack in Time(PS3), one of my all time favorites. And I hated R&C remake (PS4) by the end of it, was bored by most of it.

So I’m all over the place with it I guess.

Right on. Played T1 on C64 extensively, and T2 & 3 on Amiga. Oh, and Super Turrican and Mega Turrican.

That said, the announcement was a bit weaksauce with its lack of specifics. However, this page is up now: https://turrican.strictlylimitedgames.com/

Mega Turrican is a classic. It’s the best of the lot IMO.

Steam has a gamescom indie games booth thing going on , with 185 games that are coming out soon. Lots of demos, I’ve already added like 30 games to my wishlist.

So, the Turrican thing seems to be a bit of a letdown. Not even a remaster, it seems, just an (emulated?) collection. Or rather 2 of them, because they want to milk fans for as much as they can. EUR 70 to get all the games, 100 to get extras.

And not even the C64 versions!

More lulz…

It seems something more directed to rip off collectors than anything.
