BTW, I wish we had a separate “handheld” category. I’m playing the hell out of FFTA2 and Advance Wars, but it’s hard to put them ahead of games like GTA4.

Just FYI, due to the way instant-runoff works you can go ahead and vote for whatever nutty stuff you want. If the title doesn’t have the “oomph” it needs to survive a voting round as I tabulate the votes, it’s thrown out and your next selection is taken automatically.

This was a great year for small games, and a relatively poor year for big games. Worth noting that I haven’t played Fable 2, Prince of Persia, or Deadspace yet.

Still though. My console entries were all both genius and innovative. I hope to see more of that in 2009, even if it continues to be relegated to small games.

Dam your right, now I need to revise everything.

Weapon of Choice is totally going on that list though, partly because I haven’t played many console games better than it this year. Looking over my collection most the games I got area year old, egads!
