Finally, the Morris the Cat videogame I’ve waited my entire life for! Not really sure why it’s focused on his sanity, he seemed like the most laid back dude I can imagine. Still, in!

Maybe? I can’t actually tell what it is from any of the material online, which isn’t a great (Elder) sign. Is it a digital board game? Is it Lovecraft themed XCom?
I think it originally was announced as a Mansions of Madness adaptation and then it became clear it wasn’t gonna be that after all.
It looks to me like they took the Arkham Horror board game as the jump-off, but then chose to follow one adventurer through the storyline of a playthrough. That’s my guess, anyway. I’m intrigued, but not nearly as intrigued as I would be with a good digital MP adaptation of the board game. Not sure what replay of this looks like.
That said, I’ll probably look into it at some point.
I’m interested in Mother’s Embrace because I’m a sucker for Arkham Horror games but I suspect it will be a dud. I really wanted something closer to the board game.

I mean if that’s what it is, I’ll dig it, as well. That’s not quite the flavor I got, but I’ve watched all of like 30 seconds of footage, so it very well could be.
New wallet threat level red! The reviews on this are coming in really strong. Seems they’ve made good after their difficult second album.
Actually, I say wallet threat level red, but it’s a couch coop EA game, so it will probably be on Game Pass by the time I get a chance to play it.
I hadn’t thought of it like that before. That every EA game is now guaranteed to come to Game Pass Ultimate, either through Xbox or PC Game Pass.
Any wallet threats this week for folks? Personally I never got around to trying the Outriders demo, so I have no clue if that’s going to be in my bailiwick. But hey, it’s going to launch on Game Pass, so I’ll try it, why not? Same with Narita Boy.

Same here. Outriders pre-loaded, but not a Wallet Threat thanks to Game Pass. Thanks for the reminder of Narita Boy too…the aesthetic really stands out.

I don’t remember when, but it was freeware, but devoid of the original game s files. Maybe this is the two in one package?

Wallet Threat Level Five Alarm Fire
Outriders isn’t a wallet threat because Game Pass, but I’ll definitely be playing it when I can tear myself away from EG2.
A new week of game releases. Any wallet threat? I can’t spot any on a cursory look. The new Oddworld comes out. I always liked the Oddworld games in theory, they look so charming. Whenever I play one though, I quickly get bored and move on.
