But they got rid of the home city unlocking cards mechanic! I realize that the multi-player folks were (rightfully) annoyed that they had to grind to unlock everything… but it has sucked the life out of the single-player experience for me. I loved leveling a nation, getting some cards here and there, trying them out in my deck, optimizing as I went. Now, with everything there, I feel like there is no engagement with that process. I immediately optimized my deck and went on my merry way.

Looks like the devs are trying out a solution, at least for the new faction!
