Battlestar Galactica 34 - Rule 34

I’m on board.

Well, right now I’m in a canyon but you know what I mean

What do you think on activating CFB to try and push the pursuit, then using the roll against raiders versus activating Basestars?

The math says they are roughly equivalent in odds for doing one damage, with greater potential for two with Basestars versus selecting damage with Raiders and 5/8 chance of getting us one closer to the full party (seriously, dropping 10 more raiders would be brutal)

I don’t think that more raiders would be as helpful as shooting, the raiders would have to get all the way around Galatica and chew through the vipers to make a difference

Heh, well the thoughts of 20 raiders all shooting at Galactica had me teary eyed.

Fair enough. Discard Treachery 0B to move to Cylon Fleet and FIRE ZE MISSILES!

Edit: @Lantz

Rolls:
3 - Miss
3 - Miss

@soondifferent you have your hand.

Booooo

Yes Discourse, this is a complete post.

My reaction when the humans might actually get away.

Good news! I can use my OPG now.

Ok, so I can delegate or I can nuke. Probably delegate right? @Perky_Goth @Jorn_Weines

Or I can hit the button and ensure that one small pocket of humanity survives…

You should jump Galactica immediately.

…and end all of our late game suffering.

If you delegate to me, I can launch Vipers with my OPG (and escort the civvie) and either make a feeble attempt at escaping Detention or play my Mutiny.

Is your mutiny any good?

Alternatively Perky can evac 2, and you can OPG on your turn to escort 3, assuming we don’t all blow up by then.

My Mutiny can have some impact, but there is uncertainty. No clear drawback, though.

That’s cute, but there’s way too many pops on those civies
We might be able to get Jorn out if you two can add stuff, preferably keeping something in my hand.

Or what soon said, because we will both get bumped pretty soon.

I have no idea what kind of non-kingmaker game you’re supposed to play at this point.

I’ll show you sometime all of the bad things.

At this point I just want the game to be over :)

Looks at hand

I might have a chance to contribute to my own escape if I am XOed.

I’m thinking that Jorn can stay in detention, probably not worth the cards to get him out. He can OPG, and he can XO. Assuming we have the super lucky crises required for us to have a chance, better we just keep pushing those civvies out.

I’ll switch sides if humanity has a cloning device and can increase Pop suddenly.
